Sam has composed for all types of media and loves nothing more than working with clients to get to the heart of what their projects need. Whether it’s finding the sound of a television series or setting the mood for a theme park experience, Sam is always ready for a new challenge – and your project could be next!
Sam has been in the industry for over 20 years and has written more than 60 hours of music across 40+ projects for dozens of clients including BBC, HBO, PBS, and NBC Universal for award-winning shows like The Traitors, Planet Earth, and The Sarah Jane Adventures.

TIP TOE
Sam is thrilled to be scoring Russell T Davies’ latest series, Tip Toe.
Starring Alan Cumming and David Morrissey as Leo and Clive, neighbours in Manchester. Just as life should be settling down, the world around them is growing more tense. Words become weapons, opinions become radicalised, and gradually, two neighbours become deadly enemies.
Directed by Peter Hoar and produced by Phil Collinson and Nicola Shindler.
The five-part series is made by Quay Street Productions and will air on Channel 4 in 2026.
The Celebrity Traitors has arrive on the BBC, with new seasons for the UK and many global versions having been announced.
Sam’s music for the show can also be heard on The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked on iPlayer and BBC Sounds, as well as on many of the global versions of the show.

Untethered, a short film directed by Jacob Dudman and Lidia Huerta, has been completed. The film was made in conjunction with Causeway, a charity that works with victims of modern slavery.
This is the second collaboration between Sam and Jacob.

Mirror – Piano Day 2025
For Piano Day 2025, Sam released Mirror. Co-composed with Hilgrove Kenrick, it is a beautiful meditation for two pianos and voice with one player reflecting the other in melody and harmony. Recorded on two continents, two time zones and on two pianos in one day. Perfect for rest, relaxation, meditation and evening classical performance.
